Live Performances

Danny does a wide range of live performances, and can be booked for numerous types of events including, but not limited to, the following:

• Poetry / Acapella, live readings of his written works. A unique blend of poetry, rap/lyric pieces and singing.

• Acoustic / Rap PA (with backing singer / instrumentalist Chris Vox). Featuring original and cover songs with rap / singing / looping, over a gentle backdrop of keyboard and ukulele.

• Talks / Lectures / Discussion Panels. He has delivered talks for TedX, festivals and schools on specialist areas such as The Poetics of Hip Hop, Inclusive Arts Events, the History of Spoken Word and Rap, as well as appearing as a speaker at numerous political / community events. He has been on panels for literary festivals / organisations.

• Hosting/Compering. He is a highly experienced compere and has hosted hundreds of arts and poetry events, festivals, school poetry slams, university/varsity slams, fundraisers, variety shows, and many more, as well as regularly hosting Raise the Bar events in Bristol to 150 - 1000 attendees. His style of hosting has been widely praised as engaging and professional.
